Highlighting barbeque and dim sum dishes that set it apart from ordinary offerings, the restaurant serves up an array of signature plates. Indulge in their BBQ Peking Duck ($75.00) for a multi-course experience featuring succulent duck sliced thinly, presented with Chinese crepes and refreshing lettuce wraps—turned into a celebration of texture and flavor that is simply unforgettable. For a heartwarming platter, the Beef Brisket Stew with Steamed Rice ($18.95) brims with savory goodness, sure to envelop you with a hearty embrace after even the longest of days.

True to its commitment to quality, Cha Xpress prides itself on its clean, well-kept environment and prompt service, two standout qualities highlighted by satisfied patrons. She describes the soup as “full of flavor,” a sentiment that resonates throughout the dining experience at Cha Xpress.

For those who wish to explore delightful new tastes, be sure to try their Dim Sum, as reviewed by 'Ramses Miki-Hanson', who assured diners that yes, you can indeed experience quality dim sum in a casino setting! With a versatile menu that caters to both traditional palates and modern preferences, including vegan options like the Buddha's Delight, there's something for everyone at this bustling eatery.

However, some guests have mentioned minor service quirks, like auto-gratuity and delays on billing for First Nations tax-free status, noted by customer 'Marcy Large'. Such lapses don't detract from the overall vibrant energy and culinary excellence of Cha Xpress, making it a worthy stop for any food lover visiting the River Cree Resort and Casino.

Every dish you savor here tells a story of tradition and passion, making Cha Xpress a gem within the Canadian culinary landscape. Whether you're in for a cozy dinner with friends or a casual meal before trying your luck at the casino, this restaurant promises a delectable experience that will leave your taste buds dancing in delight. Your table awaits!

I’ve eaten at a few Chinese restaurants here in Edmonton and this is the best one for me so far. The reason aside from the taste? A common denominator for me for those other restaurants is their poor service and uncleanliness. I’ve ordered a variety of dishes and what makes me go back are the Braised Beef Stew Noodle Soup and the Pork & Shrimp Dumplings. The soup is full of flavor and has that depth you want to taste in a beef mami. As for the siomai? It tastes like Hen Lin for me (it’s a popular siomai brand in the ????????) and it’s really good! Their Yang Chow Fried Rice is good! It’s a basic dish that Chinese restos rarely fail. I like theirs because you don’t need to add anything anymore. The Deep Fried Squid was cooked perfectly—the batter wasn’t thick, it was flaky in a good way. The Honey Garlic Pork was also good—I like how the batter wasn’t thick as well and there was still crunch to it. As for previous orders I would recommend, I personally loved their Crispy Chicken w/ Garlic and the BBQ Platter.

Great Food! Good vibes however when the bill game, for the five us was an automatic 15% gratuity and took awhile to honour the tax free status card for First Nations. A little odd considering it’s in Enoch Cree Nation.

Dim sum? In a casino? Yes. Honestly, it wasn't bad at all. The menu has quite a wide variety of dishes, and they are at least comparable to other dim sum I have tried. It's nice to see an option like this at the casino

Chinese food in a casino? Discovered this place thanks to @yegven 59) Braised Rock Cod with Black mushroom hot pot (food was burning hot at the end thanks to the hot pot) $21.95 51 Hainan Chicken Rice $16.95 (Lots of meat !) 27 Buddha's Delight $21.95 (Vegan) (Mushrooms, broccoli, fungus, bamboo shoot) Tea Pot $3.5 I wish they would have more drink options but they stopped serving bubble tea even because staff told me that they need to hire more people. Good portion for the price The tables were spaced out (Also, big round tables for big groups) All-Day-DimSum 7 days a week, open until 10 pm. Check out @cha_xpressyeg in @rivercreeresort
